Cancellation Policy

We require 24 hours notice or the full treatment cost will be incurred.
We will endeavour to ring you in the morning of the appointment as a reminder, however this is not guaranteed. If you do not hear from us please call, we may have an incorrect telephone number.

Punctuality & Courtesy

As a courtesy to other clients following your appointment, late arrivals will result in a reduction of treatment time. Please do not ask the impossible, we will endeavour to carry out what we can within the time slot allocated, or suggest a re-booking. All times stated include preparation of room and client: i.e. 5 minutes at the beginning and end of treatment.

Mobile Phones

Please switch off mobile phones before & during your visit to the salon.

Courses

All treatments are available in a course of 6 ‘BUY SIX, GET ONE FREE’. Courses must be completed within six months. Courses are not transferable or refundable. Full payment on first appointment.

Consultation

We are aware that many of you may be confused as to which treatment best suits your specific requirements. We are of course, pleased to offer you up-to-date information and advice with a complimentary consultation in the strictest of confidence. Please allow 10 minutes prior to your first appointment for a consultation with our fully qualified Beauty Therapists.

Hygiene

Salon Hygiene is, of course, the utmost importance and to achieve optimal cleanliness all our sterilisation equipment is approved by the local Environmental Health Officer. We only use new sterilised disposable needles for each client.

Gift Vouchers

Gift Vouchers can either be brought in multiples of £10 or for specific treatments. They are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase and can be used on any beauty treatments or products at Home of Beauty Salon. There is no cash redemption.

Official Stockists

Home of Beauty is a Select Salon and are officially appointed stockists of O.P.I, Sienna X, St Tropez, Calgel, Smile Spa and Dermalogica.

Payment

Most Credit Cards are acceptable, Cash & Debit cards. No cheques. All prices include value added tax at the current rate.

General Treatment Advice – Very Important Information

Food - Always allow at least 1 hour to digest your meals before having treatments.
Alcohol – Never consume alcohol before any treatment.
Medical Conditions – If you have any of the following it is essential to tell your therapist before your treatment as some electrical treatments are prohibited if you suffer from these conditions:

* Pacemaker
* Heart Condition
* Diabetes
* Allergies
* Epilepsy
* Contact Lenses
* Pregnancy
* Metal Plates / Pins / Coil

Waxing

Do not have heat treatments or undertake exercise (e.g. sauna, sunbed, Jacuzzi, workout, or swim etc.) less than 8 hours before or 24 hours after your wax. Avoid wearing “Best” underwear for Bikini wax. Avoid normal deodorants after under arm wax. We can supply you with sensitive deodorants to use 3 days after your wax.
